Photography

Associate of Applied Science

Blend technical skills with a creative vision in photography. This program is designed to train those interested in a field career in photography. The program offers technical hands-on skills to pursue career opportunities in portrait, studio and photojournalism. With an emphasis on experiential learning,  students  will be working with both digital and film formats, 35mm cameras, and have the unique opportunity to work in a darkroom developing film and creating prints. Flash and natural lighting, composition, visual awareness and creative expression will all be explored. Students will think critically throughout the course to compose visually compelling and meaningful imagery.
