156 local students compete in Regional Wyoming State Math Contest at CWC

Central Wyoming College was proud to host the Central Wyoming Division of the Wyoming State Math Contest on April 8, 2025. A total of 156 students from middle and high schools across Riverton, Lander, Pavilion, Shoshoni, and local homeschool teams participated in this year’s event.

The regional contest is part of a statewide effort to challenge and celebrate student achievement in mathematics. Results from Central Wyoming are submitted to the state level and will be combined with other regional results to recognize top math students across Wyoming. Statewide rankings will be announced once all regional contests are complete.

CWC extends its thanks to participating schools, students, educators, and volunteers for making this year’s contest a success. The college looks forward to hosting the event again next spring, with the continued support of the community that makes it all possible.
