Local graduate signs letter of intent with CWC women’s basketball

Graduate from Wyoming Indian High School, Loveeda White signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Central Wyoming College on Wednesday, May 27.

White said she played a lot of different positions on her high school team and is not sure what position she will be playing for CWC.

“I played forward, post and if the coach told me to take the ball down the court, I did,” White said.

“She’s a great student and a great area kid,” said Serol Stauffenberg, head coach for women’s basketball. “She is the third area student in the mix and it’s exciting for us. I think she will be a good perimeter player but in a faster paced game it will be neat to see where her talents are.”
