APPLY FOR AID IN 4 EASY STEPS!

1) Apply for CWC admission

Before applying for aid, make sure you are an admitted CWC student by filling out an application online. Our admission policy is open, and there is no cost to apply! If you have already applied, skip right to filling out the FAFSA. 

2) Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid

When it comes to financial aid, everything starts with the FAFSA! To get started go to https://studentaid.gov/ CWC’s school code is 005018. Priority deadline is March 1. A complete FAFSA is required for all CWC institutional and private donor scholarships.

3) Review your options

Once we receive and process your application we will contact you! We will determine your financial aid package including grants, work study, and loans to help you put together a financial plan that works best for you. We will be sending you either an award letter or request for additional information via CWC student email or the email used to fill out the FAFSA. 

4) Apply for scholarships

Fill out your scholarship application online using our scholarship portal, AwardSpring. Submitting the AwardSpring application allows you to be considered for all open scholarships at CWC. The system will automatically match you to scholarships based on your application information and the criteria established by CWC scholarship donors. To be considered for CWC scholarships you must complete your application no later than March 1st each year.

What does FAFSA do…? The FAFSA helps determine your eligibility for multiple types of federal financial aid in the form of grants, student loans and work study funds. Federal student aid can be used to pay for your school expenses such as tuition and fees, books and supplies, and/or room and board also know that a few scholarships require that a FAFSA be completed to be considered. You can find a wealth of information at studentaid.gov

You do not have to pay to fill out this form! Additionally you may be eligible for more aid than you think, so don’t skip it because you think you may not qualify.
