United States and Wyoming laws require institutions of higher learning such as Central Wyoming College to issues a statement advising the campus community where law enforcement information provided by the State of Wyoming concerning registered sex offenders may be obtained. Accordingly, CWC notifies members of its campus community, including students, parents or guardians of students and college employees, that a community member can obtain information regarding sex offenders employed by or attending school at CWC by contacting the following:
 Fremont County  307-332,5611, 307-856-7200 (Riverton Sheriff’s Office), 307-332-3131 (Lander Sheriff’s Office)
 Teton County  307-733-4052
State of Wyoming  Official Wyoming Sex Offender Registry
Use of this information is restricted by state law.  Those who access the registry are advised to read the regulations for use of offender information very carefully. Sex offenders are required by state and federal law to register with the State of Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation and to notify that Division of each institution of higher education in Wyoming which the offender is employed or attends as a student.
